Christmas Table Runner, 13 x 72 in, Pink Trees and Snowflakes

Description

The same 13 by 72 in runner as the navy version, printed instead on a pale pink ground with white snowflakes and a row of soft green, cream and gold trees across each end. It is the pastel Christmas palette rather than the traditional one, and it works with the pink and mint gingerbread pieces elsewhere in this category as well as with plain white china.

Pink is a harder colour to place than navy or red, so it is worth being specific about what it suits: a light wood or painted table, cream or white plates, clear glass, and greenery rather than tinsel. On a dark walnut table under warm bulbs it reads closer to blush than to pink.

Material and care

Spun polyester with a faux linen weave. It is machine washable, takes a sharp print, and the supplier rates it as fade and weather resistant. Wash cool, hang or tumble low, and press on the reverse. The pale ground will show a red wine spill more readily than the navy will, so treat a spill quickly rather than at the end of the evening.

At 72 in it fits a table seating four to eight with a short overhang at each end.

Shipping data

CJ publishes a pack weight of 603 g, which is 1.33 lb, in a 150 by 100 by 20 mm carton. That is the same figure the navy runner carries, which is consistent given they are the same item in a different print. The weight looks high for the fabric area involved, so part of it is packaging. This item ships free.

Orders placed by Monday December 7 are expected to arrive before Christmas, allowing 1 to 3 business days of handling and 5 to 9 business days in transit.

Pairing it

Pink is not a colour most Christmas tables reach for, which is exactly why it works when the rest of the room is already red and green. Set against plain white plates, clear glass and a few bottle-brush trees it reads as a considered choice rather than an accident. The pastel gingerbread pieces elsewhere in this category were styled to the same palette, and the two together make a coherent table without any of it matching exactly.
