Pink Pencil Christmas Tree, 7.5 ft Slim with 1075 Branch Tips

Description

Full height, almost no floor

A pencil tree solves a specific problem: you want the height of a real Christmas tree and you do not have the floor space for one. This is 7.5 feet tall on a narrow, upright profile, so it fits beside a staircase, in a hallway, against a flat wall or in the gap next to a bookcase where a standard fir simply will not go.

Pink, and what it does to your ornaments

The colour is soft pink rather than green or flocked white. It is a deliberate look and it changes what works on the tree. Silver, white, clear glass, rose gold and pale ribbon all sit beautifully against it. Traditional red and green ornaments fight it. Work that out before you order, because the tree is the cheap part of changing a palette and the ornaments are not.

1075 branch tips on a slim frame

Density is the weak point of most pencil trees. Squeeze a tall silhouette into a narrow diameter and you can see straight through to the pole. At 1075 tips this one carries enough branches to stay opaque, provided you shape it. Work from the bottom up, pull each tip outward and slightly up, and give it twenty to thirty minutes the first year. A pencil tree that has not been shaped looks like a bottle brush.

Hinged sections and a stand that stays put

The tree assembles from hinged sections that swing open rather than individual branches you slot in, so one person can put it up without help. A narrow tree carrying ornaments is top heavy by nature, which is why the included stand is wider than the tree needs to look right. Keep the stand fully extended, and if you have pets or small children, weight it or anchor the trunk to the wall.
