Four matched pieces, one remote

This is a complete entrance set: a garland, a wreath and a pair of entrance trees, all in the same snow flocked green and all pre-lit with warm white LEDs. The reason to buy a set rather than four separate pieces is consistency. Four items bought individually will almost never share the same green, the same flocking density or the same colour temperature of light, and the mismatch is obvious once they are side by side on one doorway.

Remote control

The set is operated from a remote rather than by reaching behind each piece for a switch. On a four piece arrangement that is a genuine convenience, because two of the pieces are standing on the ground either side of a door and the other two are above head height.

The snow flocked finish

Flocking lifts the whole set against a dark door or dark brickwork and reads as snow from a distance. It is a surface treatment, so it sheds a little in the first season and it does not like being handled. Site the trees where people are not brushing past them on the way in.

Scale and weight

The set ships at a little over seventeen pounds, which tells you it is a substantial arrangement rather than a token one. Allow for a reasonably wide doorway or porch: two floor standing trees need floor space on both sides of the door that is not in the swing of it.

What the supplier does not tell us

We publish specifications only where the manufacturer provides them. For this set the supplier gives the contents, the finish, the lighting and the shipping weight, but does not publish individual piece dimensions or the LED count. Setting up

Open out the branch tips on all four pieces by hand before you position anything. It takes a few minutes per piece and it is the difference between a full set and a flat one.
