Mini Pre-Lit Christmas Tree, 24 in Tabletop with Ornaments

Description

A tabletop tree that comes decorated

Most small trees arrive bare and leave you hunting for ornaments small enough to hang on them. This one does not. At 24 inches, or 60 cm, it comes with its lights, ornaments, bows, a star topper and a stand already in place. You unbox it, set it on a table, and it is done.

Who it is for

This is a tree for a situation rather than a room. A studio flat with no corner to spare. A desk at work. A reception counter. A hospital room or a care home, where a full tree is not allowed and a bare one looks bleak. A child’s bedroom, where the appeal is having their own. A caravan, a boat, a cabin, or a rented place you will not be in long enough to justify storing a full tree. In all of those cases what matters is that it is finished on arrival and packs away as one piece.

What it looks like

The needles are green rather than flocked, and the decoration is classic rather than restrained: red bows, gold bells, candy canes, wrapped parcel ornaments, a lit star on top and a Merry Christmas sign across the front. It is a traditional look and it is unapologetic about it. If your taste runs to pale, minimal and coordinated, this is not the tree. If you want something that reads as Christmas from across a room the moment it is switched on, it is exactly right.

Practical notes

The stand is a small black cross that sits flat on a table and disappears once the lower branches are spread. The lights are built in and run through the branches, so there is no string to wrap and nothing to buy separately. Give the branches a few minutes of spreading when it first comes out of the box, since it ships compressed, and it will look noticeably fuller. It is an indoor tree.
