A pair of tomte-style gnomes built long rather than round. Each one measures 4.7 by 4.3 by 20.1 in and weighs about 0.7 lb, so the height comes from a tall pointed hat and a set of long striped dangle legs rather than from a wide body. The supplier lists them as 100 percent polyester throughout.

The face is the classic tomte: no eyes, a full white beard covering most of the body, and a soft round nose sitting just below the hat brim. The hat is red with a fine white speckle and a white fur trim, and the legs are red-and-white striped knit ending in soft boots. Because the legs hang, these are made to sit on an edge, a mantel, a bookshelf, a stair post or the back of a sofa, with the legs dangling over the front.
