3.4 ft Inflatable Hanging Snowman with LED Lights for Windows and Walls

Description

A snowman built to hang on a window or a wall rather than stand on the ground, with his arms spread and a striped scarf, lit from inside. At 31.5 in wide, 29.5 in deep and 41.3 in high he is the smallest piece in this group, which is the point: he fits a front window, a porch wall or a balcony where a six foot figure would not.

This is also the best documented item in the group. The supplier lists polyester cloth rated IP44, an LED draw of 0.25 W, a DC 12V 0.5A fan, an input of AC 100 to 120V at 50/60Hz, a transformer output of DC 12V 0.7A, and CEC and UL/ETL/CSA certification. Certification at this price point is not the norm in inflatable yard decor and is worth something if you are running it near a doorway.

Power and placement

The power cable is 9.8 ft, which is generous and is what makes a window mount practical. Measure from the mounting point to the outlet before you order anyway. The blower has to stay powered for the snowman to stay inflated, and the supplier specifically advises running it no more than eight hours at a stretch to protect the motor, so a timer is a sensible addition.

Mounting and weather

Three suction cups and a drawstring are included. The suction cups hold on glass and other smooth surfaces; the drawstring is there to tie the piece off so it cannot swing. The supplier’s own guidance is not to use it outside in heavy rain, snow or wind, which is worth taking at face value: the IP44 rating covers splashing, not a storm. Under a covered porch or on the inside of a window it will be untroubled.

It deflates and folds down to a package weighing just over a pound.
