49-Inch Outdoor Halloween Spider with 126-Inch Web

Description

Scale is what makes a spider scary

A 49 inch spider reads from the sidewalk. Long black hair across the body and legs, red eyes that catch porch light, and enough bulk that people notice it before they notice the house. This is the piece that makes a passing car slow down, and it works because of size rather than motion or sound.

The web does the heavy lifting

The included web stretches to 126 inches, wide enough to cover a garage door, a porch corner, a pair of front windows or the gap between two trees. Pull it out unevenly rather than symmetrically. Real webs sag, and an irregular stretch reads as authentic from a distance while a neat grid reads as plastic.

Bendable legs mean more than one look

Every leg adjusts and holds its shape. Flat on the web the spider looks like it is waiting. Curled over a gutter edge it looks like it is climbing down. Wrapped around a porch column it looks like it is coming around the corner at you. The same decoration gives you a different scene each year, which is the difference between a prop you keep and one you replace.
