7.5 ft Inflatable Nativity Scene with JOY Sign and Built-In LED Lights

A nativity scene built as a single inflatable piece, with the figures arranged around the manger and a large illuminated JOY sign forming the backdrop. Because it is one unit rather than a set of separate statues, it sets up in seconds and there is nothing to arrange, level or pack away individually at the end of the season.

The measurements are 88.6 x 29.5 x 55.1 in (225 x 75 x 140 cm). That 88.6 in is the width, not the height. This is a wide, low scene about four and a half feet tall and roughly seven and a half feet across, which is what the supplier’s 7.5 ft label refers to. Plan for a wide flat area: a front lawn, a deep porch, or the strip alongside a driveway. It will not work in a narrow bed.

Power and placement

An adapter and a built-in fan run the piece from a standard household outlet, and the fan stays on the whole time it is displayed. Decide the outlet first. For anything beyond a short run, use an outdoor rated extension cord plugged into a GFCI outlet, and keep the cord out of the walkway. Nine built-in LEDs light the figures and the JOY sign from inside, which is more than most pieces in this size class carry.

Anchoring

Six ground stakes and two securing ropes are included. A wide low shape is more stable in wind than a tall narrow one, but it presents a large face to a crosswind, so stake all six points rather than just the corners. On a hard surface, use sandbags at the base instead. In a storm, deflate it.

Polyester with plastic fittings. It deflates, folds down and stores in a box roughly the size of a carry-on bag.

A word on the season. Handling here runs one to three business days and transit five to nine, so an order placed by Monday December 7 arrives in time. A nativity is usually the piece a household puts out first and leaves up longest, so if it is going to anchor the display it is worth ordering ahead of the rush rather than in the first week of December.
