Description
A big silhouette that reads from the street
This is a Santa figure seated on the back of a polar bear, inflated by a built-in fan and lit from the inside. It stands about 70 inches tall, which is the figure CJ’s own dimension artwork gives. The product name says 6 ft; 70 inches is 5 ft 10 in, so treat the artwork as the accurate number and expect a piece that is roughly chest-to-head height on an adult. The bear is the mass of the display, and it is what carries at distance. From the sidewalk after dark you read the white bear shape first, then Santa’s red coat and the green gift on the bear’s back.
Setup, staking and wind
The fan runs continuously while the display is up, so the piece inflates in about two minutes and then holds its shape as long as it has power. Ground stakes and guy ropes are included. Use all of them. A 70-inch inflatable has a lot of sail area and a gusty night will drag an under-staked one across a lawn or fold it against a fence. Stake into soil where you can; on a deck or a paved path you will need sandbags or weighted anchors instead, because the stakes have nothing to bite. The sensible habit with any inflatable is to deflate it in high wind rather than trusting the anchors.
Power and cord runs
The fan and the LEDs run off a single supply, rated 15 W, so this is a low-draw item you can share with other decorations on the same outdoor circuit. Plan the cord run before you site the figure: use an outdoor-rated extension cord, keep the connection off wet ground, and give yourself slack so the cord is not under tension when the figure shifts. A cord that pulls is the most common reason a display goes dark overnight.
Storage
It packs down to a soft bundle, which is the real advantage over a rigid frame piece. Shipping weight is about 2.9 lb in a carton roughly 11 x 7 x 11 in, so it stores in a single bin rather than taking a shelf. Let the fabric dry fully before you fold it away; a damp fold is what produces mildew spots the following season.
Honest notes
CJ lists the material only as cloth, without a denier rating, so we cannot tell you whether it matches the heavier 210D polyester used on some inflatables. The mounting artwork prints 3.96 lb while the supplier’s pack weight is about 2.9 lb; those numbers do not agree and we have not resolved which is the fabric-only figure. Handling here is 1 to 3 business days plus 5 to 9 in transit, so order by Monday December 7 for Christmas arrival.
