Description
A wide, low display built around the figures
This is a three-figure nativity under a lit stable arch, topped with a star. The supplier’s dimension drawing gives an overall width of about 69 inches, the star at roughly 21.7 by 17.3 inches, and the standing and kneeling figures between about 17 and 31 inches tall. CJ’s own product name calls it 6 ft, which is a rounding of that 69-inch width rather than a height. Read it as a piece that spans most of a front flower bed and stands a little under waist height at the arch.
How it reads after dark
The figures and the arch are wrapped in warm white lights over a light-coloured mesh form, which is why the whole silhouette glows rather than showing individual bulbs. There are 190 LEDs across the piece. The practical effect is that it reads as a single lit shape from the road, and the detail of the faces and the manger only resolves when you are within about twenty feet. If your yard is deep and set back, site it closer to the street than feels natural; the arch is what carries, not the figures.
Staking and wind
Ground stakes are supplied and the frame is designed to be pinned down rather than free-standing. The arch is the vulnerable part: it is wide, it is light, and it catches crosswind. Stake every anchor point, and if the ground is frozen or you are setting up on gravel, plan for an alternative such as rebar pins or a weighted base. A wide, low display is generally better behaved in wind than a tall one, but the star on top raises the profile and gives the wind something to push.
Power and cords
Run an outdoor-rated extension cord to the display and keep the connection up off the soil, ideally in a weatherproof cord cover. Because the piece is wide, the cord has to travel further than you expect from the photographs; measure from your outlet to the far end of the arch before you buy a cord, not to the near edge.
Storage and what arrives
It ships flat in a long carton, roughly 43 by 22 by 3 inches, weighing about 11 lb, which tells you the frame separates into panels and lies down for storage rather than collapsing into a bundle. Budget a long flat space such as a shelf above a garage door or behind a workbench. The frame is plastic over a wire form; handle the star and the arch by the frame rather than the light strings when you move it.
Honest notes
The supplier lists the material simply as plastic and does not publish an ingress protection rating, a bulb life figure or a wattage. We have not invented those numbers. Treat it as a seasonal outdoor piece to be brought in at the end of the season rather than a year-round fixture. Handling is 1 to 3 business days plus 5 to 9 in transit, so order by Monday December 7 for Christmas.
